We’ve been getting teasers. We’ve had one off songs being released. I mean we’ve had 80’s Movie, then we got Scary Monster, then Easy, with the most recent being teasers of his latest song Superman off his as of yet to be released solo album. We’ve been waiting faithfully, patiently and Nick’s been saying “soon”…But now? Now we have news! Nick having just announced his new solo tour during the current Backstreet Break And honestly as a girl who’s gone to her fair share of Nick solo shows, I know I’m excited and you should be too!
Nick has always been more low key and his shows are guaranteed to be in a more intimate setting. And after waiting almost eight years for a new solo hour, the wait, is finally over. As announced through Billboard magazine, Nick sounds pretty excited to give us something different while authentically a piece of himself. Speaking from experience, as anyone who’s ever gone to one of his solo shows, he likes to mix it up. Creating his own remixes of his solo songs with songs that inspired him over the years, to straight up covers you wouldn’t think of straight away.
“I was born in 1980 and there was a lot of music that influenced me throughout the years to be one of the members of the Backstreet Boys. So, I’m going to perform a lot of songs that I love,” he says of what fans can expect from the 14-show run. “80s songs, 90s songs — songs that that we all grew up with, and then also some solo songs and a lot of the Backstreet Boys songs. It’s just going to be a real fun show.”
There’s nothing better than a Nick Carter back on stage. Presales are at 10am local venue time on July 18th for Fan Club members and the general sale is July 21st.
