You know what today is, it’s Nick’s birthday! And if you thought I’d let this day pass us by without gushing about how wonderful he is, well…you’re dead wrong! Of course I want to talk about ten of the many, many, many reasons why we’re all fans of Nick and why we’re all very happy he’s around for yet another year. Nick if you manage to see this, happy birthday! We absolutely adore you.
Here’s why….
1. He sincerely cares
Whether he’s sneaking around through GoFundMe campaigns quietly donating to those in need, or volunteering at soup kitchens, Nick’s shown time and again that he just really cares about people. His heart is quite big and as someone who’s witnessed him giving back to my own hometown (and now his current home) repeatedly, trust me when I say it never gets old. He’s a giver.
2. He’s a bit of a geek.
He’s a lover of video games, and comics. This of course we all knew. But you know what’s also great? He’s a lover of science! He tweets about what’s fascinating to him and when it comes to the new research he’s been retweeting or talking about? Man…talk science to us Nick!
3. His role as Pancake Daddy.
Honestly…need I say more? The love he has for his kids and the complete joy he’s had in fatherhood? Well it’s pretty damn adorable. Seeing him give Odin and Saoirse everything he missed out on as a kid, it just warms the heart. Baby Carter-To-Be doesn’t know how lucky he or she is, but they will.
4. His voice.

I don’t care how many lists I make. This will ALWAYS be one of them. Because when Nick lets go? Damn does he let go. It’s a freaking sight to behold.
5. His love and appreciation for the fans.
Nick’s always been the type to really show that he knows that the fans are why he’s where he is. He’s always been forever thankful for them and tries to showcase this however he can. Whether it’s replying to DMs on Twitter, to sending tweets, giving follows, or telling them in person? Nick knows how much a small gesture can mean and does whatever he can to remind fans he’s thankful for their love and support. And trust us, it means a lot.
6. He’s not afraid to be himself.

7. His passion

Nick puts his all into everything he does. And man do I mean his all. That sort of passion is simply undeniable. You can’t look away. You can’t deny it. You just have to embrace it and well, love it honestly. And pretty sure that we all do. Nick doesn’t do anything half-assed and it’s one of the best things about him.
8. His ambition
Sometimes this can get him into trouble in that Nick likes to try and tackle a lot of things at once. At times it catches up with him. But he does try his hardest and you have to admire the way he dives headfirst into a project. In fact, as shown below sometimes he can get a little too into something.

9. His stage presence.
There’s a reason he got dubbed as the “Greatest Showman” on The Masked Singer. Even in a giant freaking crocodile suit, that couldn’t be hiddent. Instead it was showcased better than ever and now people outside the fandom see it. You gotta love that, am I right?
10. His growth.
Whether we’re talking about his personal struggles or his development as an artist, Nick is always growing. He never stops. He’s always trying to better himself and that’s something we should all admire. Because it’s definitely not an easy feat. Just know we’re unbelievably proud of you.
